Explore, fight, return
Build a useful home, then take a reason to leave it. Dungeons, caves, dimensions and bosses bring back equipment, building palettes and ingredients with practical uses.
The Beta 1.0 world
Wildshape supplies the terrain foundation, alongside Regions Unexplored, Biomes O' Plenty and Nature's Spirit. Streams Reflowing adds flowing rivers, with Flow Control supplying tools for working with them.
Autumnity, WilderNature, Alex's Mobs, Hybrid Aquatic and Modern Apple Cows contribute environments and wildlife. Alex's Caves adds its distinctive underground regions. ShineaL's Prehistoric Expansion and Realm RPG: Treasure Balloons are not part of Beta 1.0.
Terrain settings affect newly generated chunks. Changing a preset does not reshape a town or rewrite chunks that already exist.
Choose an expedition
| Destination | What to look for |
|---|---|
| Alex's Caves | Distinct underground regions, themed resources and encounters |
| Aether / Deep Aether | Sky exploration, equipment, Aether villages and local resources |
| Twilight Forest | Its native boss progression, landmarks and materials |
| Deeper and Darker | The Otherside and its discoveries |
| Nether | BetterNether, Amplified Nether and Jaden's Nether Expansion |
| End / BetterEnd | Native eye access, exploration and advanced building materials |
The pack keeps dimension access outside blanket workshop stage locks. Native portal costs, End Remastered and Twilight's own rules still apply.
Dungeons and encounters
Archaion, Legendary Monsters and Bosses'Rise join Cataclysm and Mowzie's Mobs. Ancient Remnants adds monolith discoveries. Integrated Cataclysm, Integrated Mowzie's Mobs and Integrated Seven Seas expand the encounter and structure selection.
Epic Structures: Dungeons, Jungle Temples and Witch Huts take over those three structure roles. YUNG's Desert Temples, Mineshafts, Nether Fortresses, Ocean Monuments and End Island remain in the beta, alongside Integrated Dungeons and Structures, Integrated Dungeons Arise, Integrated Stronghold and Integrated Villages.
Lootr supports per-player container loot where compatible. Unidentified Loot connects equipment discoveries to identification, rarity, collection and salvage. Death Keeper supplies the beta's gravestone system.
Combat and camera
Epic Fight and Weapons of Miracles provide action combat and weapon movesets. Punchy! and Punchy! Moves add animation systems, with Combat Punchy handling automatic handoffs between Epic Fight and Punchy behavior. The beta also includes the dedicated Punchy / Iron's Spells first-person compatibility addon.
Shoulder Surfing Reloaded, Do a Barrel Roll and Reach Behind provide additional camera and perspective options. Check their controls alongside combat keybinds before changing several settings at once.
Materials worth bringing home
Alex's Caves resources have routes into magnets, AE2 parts, glue, fertilizer, Arcane Essence and Glow Ink. Aether and Twilight materials can also appear in their own Excavator deposit pools.
These alternate uses complement ordinary discovery. They do not force a boss catalyst into every machine.
The Eyes and boss rematches
End Remastered retains its native eye acquisition. The beta's custom boss/chest mapping script has no additional assignments.
Universal Boss Respawner is included and enabled. Supported encounters can use its boss-rematch cages; follow the displayed revival item and requirements. Boss support follows the installed mod's rules. Quest-token costs and timers remain part of the questbook work.
